Ghost Pepper Season 2 Ignites December 17, 2025

The highly anticipated second story arc of Skybound and Image Comics' hit series, Ghost Pepper, is set to ignite comic book stores on December 17, 2025. This high-octane adventure, crafted by the multitalented Ludo Lullabi (known for his work on TRANSFORMERS and Battle Chasers) with vibrant colors by Adriano Lucas (Destro, Absolute Flash), plunges readers back into a world of forgotten heroes, fierce food truck rivalries, and world-saving stakes.

A major highlight of this new chapter is the introduction of a captivating variant cover series by rising star artist Frédéric Pham Chuong (TRANSFORMERS). Pham Chuong's "action figure" themed variants will grace the Cover C slot (1:10 incentive) for issues #6 through #12. Each cover meticulously recreates the iconic packaging of classic collectible toys, showcasing Ghost Pepper's distinctive characters in a way that invites fans to add them to their display shelves.

Executive Editor Ben Abernathy expressed his enthusiasm for the series' continued success, stating, "GHOST PEPPER has been a dream project, not only in bringing Ludo Lullabi's incredible vision to life but also in the overwhelming fan and retailer reception. This series has truly resonated with so many people and has been a consistent monthly standout on sales charts. Our sincerest thanks to everyone who has supported us through the first five issues. We're incredibly excited for everyone to experience our epic second arc!"

Ghost Pepper introduced readers to a post-apocalyptic reality where humanity has overcome a monstrous threat, but not without creating new societal divisions. The series follows Loloi, a resourceful food truck owner who navigates dangerous roads, outwits cutthroat competitors, and evades the giant robots that are meant to provide protection but instead loom ominously. Loloi's life takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of Ash, a mysterious warrior whose secrets, coupled with his immense strength, may hold the key to saving the world.

The narrative picks up in the wake of a significant battle, with Loloi bringing Ash to her home village. However, this sanctuary has fallen under the oppressive rule of a corrupt mayor and his augmented enforcers, adding a new layer of conflict as hunters begin to close in.

Beyond Pham Chuong's innovative action figure variants, Ghost Pepper #6 will feature a stunning array of cover options. The main cover is provided by series creator Ludo Lullabi. Additionally, fans can look forward to an open-to-order variant cover by Carmine di Giandomenico (Absolute Superman), a 1:25 incentive variant by Patricia Martín (Secret Weapons), a 1:50 incentive variant from the promising new artist Pepper, and a classic blank sketch cover.
